6 weeks old today

3 weeks old tomorrow

Max is doing so very well. His next doctors appointment is in one week. Last week he was a half pound more than his birth weight. We are getting better at feeding and changing. He has moved from his bed in our room to his crib in his own room. I am so proud of this little guy. He is a very good baby, and on occasion he gives me a smile. These are the pictures I took today before and after his bath.

He's finally here!!! Born Tuesday July 28, 2009 at 11:40 am by natural birth. He was 8 pounds and 19 inches long. And I did it !!! No drugs! Having had this experience as planned I know I made the right choices for us. He was unaffected by medications and my healing has been a lot faster than most women. I would do it this way again for sure. Right now I am adjusting to my new life with my son. We are so very happy and blessed to have this little boy. Words can't begin to describe what this feels like, but I have never felt this before. Here's the pictures I promised.

Today is our due date, or shall I say Max's due date. I am so excited! There is no news yet. He continues to find comfort inside me, so we might not see the little guy just yet, but I promise to post once he comes. I have a lot of loved ones around me giving support during this time, so I will be sure to keep everyone up to date on the progress of this little angel coming into the world.
